Zerodha imports by tradebook CSV, and that is a genuine advantage for a first look: one export from Console carries your entire history, so SubTrades has months of behaviour to read on day one rather than starting from today.
Your tradebook already records the behaviour. Timestamps show when you re-entered after a stop-out. Position sizes show when confidence outran your edge. Hold times show which losers you kept on hope. SubTrades reads those fields and reports seven patterns, each dated and priced in rupees, without you tagging a single trade.
In Zerodha Console, go to Reports, then Tradebook, select your segment and date range, and click Download. The CSV that comes out uploads to SubTrades unmodified.
Not yet. Zerodha is CSV upload today. Because a single Console export carries your full history, the practical difference for a first analysis is small: you get months of patterns immediately rather than building them up day by day.
As much as you have. Revenge trading shows up in a couple of weeks, but slower patterns such as profit giveback and euphoria need a few months of sessions before the detection has enough to work with.
The trade record is the same, but figures can differ because SubTrades computes realised P&L on a FIFO basis from your trades and does not attempt to reproduce every brokerage, STT and statutory charge exactly as Console does. Use SubTrades for behaviour, and Console or your contract notes for tax figures.
